• The house I grew up in is on Freewill Road and holds so many sweet memories. There my creativity was nurtured, and in this small way I’m able to pay homage to the people who have supported me through everything.

  • I spent four years in the Interior Architecture and Design department at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, earning my Bachelor of Science degree. During my time at UTC I was able to spend summers out of state for internships in North Carolina and Florida, and gain valuable experience in the field. After graduation were three years with a reputable studio in Chattanooga where I honed my design and communication skills, and built relationships with vendors and other professionals before making the decision to start my own business.

  • Service fees are billed for the Design Consultation, Billable Hours, or Design Membership.

The Design Consultation marks the start of all projects and has a fixed fee that is billed after the scheduled visit. During this consultation, we walk through your expectations and the scope of the project.

Billable Hours are the time the designer takes to complete the project and are agreed upon by the client and designer before work begins. This time is classified by the design phase being completed and is billed per hour. The phases are Programming, Project Development, Project Management, and Installation & Styling. All phases have the same rate per hour.

Programming: Site documentation, project setup, schematic ideation and laying the groundwork for the project.

Project Development: Selections, design meetings, reselections and honing in on the design intent and achieving the design goals.

Project Management: Purchasing and overseeing orders, scheduling installations, keeping up communications with any vendors or subcontractors to complete the project.

Installation & Styling: Delivering all items according to the design and handling any final touches.

Depending on your project size, scope, and timeline, we will determine the services necessary to make your dream space a reality.

  • Absolutely! There is a Design Membership service option that acts as a monthly subscription for design services, which is best suited for go-getters who just need a little direction. Click the "Let's work together" button to inquire whether this is the best route for you.

  • We understand that not all budgets are created equal, and are prepared to provide you with options that work within your limits. If requests land unreasonably outside of the budget we approach our clients with transparency, and a more feasible solution, so that they can then decide what is right for them.

  • The timeline depends on the size and complexity of the project. Smaller projects might take a few weeks, while larger ones could span several months or even a year. We’ll provide a detailed timeline after assessing your project.

  • We can certainly incorporate your existing furniture and decor into the new design. Our goal is to enhance your space and work with what you already love, while also introducing new elements as needed.

  • Any inspiration images are welcome, along with a rough idea of your budget and any specific requirements or preferences you have for the space.

  • We work diligently to provide consistent communication every step of the way, but your level of involvement can vary based on your preferences. You can be as involved, or uninvolved, as you’d like!

  • Communication is key. Don’t hesitate to speak up when the design isn’t quite right for you. It’s our job to make revisions until we reach your goals.

  • Yes, we have access to exclusive trade-only resources, which allows us to offer unique furnishings and materials not available to the public.

  • We prefer to receive all orders we place to the studio or warehouse instead of your house so that we can thoroughly record purchases, quickly intercept any damaged items that need to be claimed, and assemble any items that require it. This arrangement allows for the most satisfying installation possible.

  • Of course! With video conferencing and digital presentation materials, no project is too far away.
